Learn about United Way’s legislative agenda and plans for Advocacy Day at the Texas Capitol. The event will feature an engaging lawmaker panel with Rep. Jeff Leach and Rep. Toni Rose, moderated by former state representative and Haynes and Boone Partner John Turner, plus a United Way advocacy panel including Mary Henderson, Karen Tavana and Michelle Thomas, moderated by Richardson City Council Member Joe Corcoran. Join our Community Impact Grant Panel 

We’re seeking Community Impact Grant (CIG) volunteers to help us evaluate Community Impact Grants submitted by nonprofit organizations in 2025. In this role, CIG volunteers will be responsible for reading and evaluating applications and making virtual and/or in-person site visits to organizations that have applied for a grant from United Way.  

This is a rare opportunity for volunteers to drive broad, transformative change and advance equity in the areas of education, income and health. Volunteer applications open soon.
