In October, the Women of Tocqueville Fund announced that this year’s Social Innovation Incubator cohort will be the second investment for their Fund for Women and Children, which provides targeted financial and skill-based investments in the areas of education, income and health. ICYMI - WOT Cups of Cheer Volunteer Project and DINE! Recap
On Nov .2, over 20 WOT gathered for the Cups of Cheer Teacher Appreciation project. 150 cups were decorated and filled with treats and a thank you note and will be distributed to Mi Escuelita Preschool staff to say thanks for their commitment to teaching and inspiring young minds. Mark your calendars to join the Women of Tocqueville for our annual WOT JOY! Event: a holiday gift guide preview hosted by Neiman Marcus at NorthPark. A $25 donation is suggested and will support the Women of Tocqueville baby shower project in April. Formal invitation to follow!
This Saturday United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, the North Texas Food Bank, Goodr, and the State Fair of Texas will host a food drive for the southern Dallas area to help fight hunger. There’s still time to join us and volunteer to distribute food to feed over 400 families this holiday season.
