United Way Day at the Capitol
On Feb. 26, Women of Tocqueville members traveled with 50 community advocates to the state capitol in Austin to advocate directly with lawmakers and their staff. We met with officials from 30 House and Senate legislative offices to speak up for policies that directly impact education, income and health in North Texas. Throughout the 89th Texas Legislative Session, we are working with advocates like you to educate lawmakers on the policies that impact our community and offer support for key legislation.
