The mighty, mighty Women of Tocqueville Steering Committee gathered on June 18 for an afternoon of impact, reflection and celebration, marking another triumphant year of serving our North Texas neighbors through their incredible giving, advocacy and volunteerism.
The excitement kicked off at the North Texas Food Bank, where Women of Tocqueville members had a fun time working together, packaging nearly 5,000 meals to help close the hunger gap.
Immediately after, our Steering Committee paused to reflect on their collective impact over the past year, revisiting the group’s 15 initiatives generated to support United Way’s Aspire United 2030 goals—our North Star for driving transformational change and advancing racial equity in education, income and health throughout North Texas.
The afternoon ended with a celebratory reception and dinner to thank Michelle Horton for her outstanding service as the 2023-2024 Chair. Thank you, Michelle, for your servant leadership this past year.
We are grateful to all our mighty, mighty Women of Tocqueville for your support and commitment to United Way. Thank you for enriching the North Texas community!
Have a wonderful summer. We look forward to seeing you all again soon and sharing information about the opportunities and fun that lie ahead as we march toward our Centennial.
