A Century of Impact and a Bright Future Ahead!

As we welcome 2025, we reflect with deep gratitude on the incredible strides we made together in 2024. Your leadership and generosity empowered communities across North Texas, transformed lives through the Women of Tocqueville Fund, and strengthened bonds through gatherings like WOT Connections, DINE! and impactful advocacy efforts.

This year is particularly special as United Way of Metropolitan Dallas celebrates its Centennial! Together, we honor 100 years of transformative impact in North Texas while looking ahead to the meaningful work still to come. We hope you will join us for these upcoming opportunities:

  • Celebrate this year’s Social Innovation Accelerator fellows as they practice their final pitches at Demo Day on January 29 and compete for a spot at The Pitch.
  • Volunteer for Reading Day on March 7 with 1,000+ community members to promote literacy and a love of reading in 1,000+ local classrooms. Women of Tocqueville will host two schools–one in Collin County and one in Dallas County–and we hope you will join us!
  • Connect with fellow WOT and incoming Social Innovation Incubator participants on March 19 at their Debut Night at Dallas College, sponsored by the Women of Tocqueville Fund for Women and Children.
  • See the impact of your WOT Joy! contributions at the WOT Virtual Baby Shower on April 4.
  • Vote for your favorite Social Innovation Accelerator fellow at the 10th anniversary of their culminating event of the year, The Pitch on April 9.

And please save the date for our Centennial Celebration event on November 15, where we will come together as a community to commemorate this extraordinary milestone, reflect upon 100 years of impact in North Texas, and look forward to our second century of service.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication to our shared mission as we embark on this exciting year. With your brilliance and compassion, we will continue to Celebrate Impact, Ignite Innovation, and Empower Our Future.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Mandy Austin, Michelle Horton, and Michelle Thomas
