| View in browser Helping Women, Moms and Their Children Facing Situational Homelessness On December 10 and 11, over 20 volunteers gathered at Agape Resource & Assistance Center to paint the interior of a townhome for move-in by multiple women facing homelessness. Because of your generous support of time, talent, and treasure, according to Janet Collinsworth – Founder/Executive Director, Agape, “The townhome will provide up to twelve months of safe, stable housing for four women who will call the space home in their journeys to overcome the devastating and debilitating effects of poverty, homelessness, and abuse.”   This is a life-changing gift and powerful impact beyond the financial savings created by your volunteerism and the generous donations provided for painting supplies and ancillary items.   You can read a full recap of the event below! READ THE RECAP > Here's The Latest Updates and News  An Update on the Annual Advocacy Luncheon The Advocacy Luncheon has been rescheduled and will be a virtual event on Thursday, March 3 from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Registration will open soon. Stay tuned!  Point-in-Time Homeless Count Tuesday, Jan. 25 \| 5:00 p.m.   Volunteers are needed to seek and survey those experiencing unsheltered homelessness for the annual Point-in-Time Count. The data collected by volunteers will help Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance (MDHA) and the Homeless Collaborative understand trends to inform data-driven strategy and implementation.
