Dear Women of Tocqueville Members,
Welcome to a new year of purpose, fellowship, and collective impact!
Looking back on all we’ve accomplished together fills us with immense pride and gratitude. Each of our initiatives reflects the heart of who we are—women committed to uplifting our community through purpose-driven action. We have certainly lived up to this year’s themes of celebrating impact, igniting innovation, and empowering our future!
By reading to students across Dallas ISD through Reading Day, we support early childhood literacy and help more children reach grade-level reading by third grade. Through our annual WOT Baby Shower, we expand access to essential resources that support the health and well-being of women and children. Our Incubator Program, powered by the Women of Tocqueville Fund for Women and Children, nurtures emerging leaders and builds pathways to economic mobility. Volunteering at Bonton Farms advances food security and community wellness—key components of a healthier North Texas. And by supporting Grace for President at the Dallas Children’s Theater, we foster civic engagement and inspire confidence in young learners, helping them envision their full potential.
As we build on this momentum and engagement, we are honored to welcome 63 remarkable new members to the Women of Tocqueville. Each of you brings fresh perspectives, unique talents, and a shared commitment to our mission. You are joining an engaged community of women united in purpose, and we look forward to getting to know you, learning from you, and working alongside you as we continue this important work together.
To support our growth and further strengthen our network, we’ve introduced several new initiatives designed to deepen connection and celebrate our shared identity. Our new Women of Tocqueville brooch serves as an elegant symbol of the legacy, leadership, and light each member contributes to this community. We also launched our WOT Podcast—a powerful platform to share our stories and amplify the values that bring us together. And with the debut of our official WOT LinkedIn page, we’ve created a dynamic space to celebrate achievements, mark milestones, and stay meaningfully connected as we continue to grow and inspire one another.
Following this remarkable year of growth and connection, we are proud to announce that Katie Rose will serve as Chair of Women of Tocqueville for 2025–2026. A devoted member and thoughtful leader, Katie brings a clear vision and deep passion for our mission. Please join us in celebrating her as she steps into this important role—we look forward to supporting her and continuing to build momentum together.
This leadership transition comes at a particularly meaningful time, as United Way of Metropolitan Dallas celebrates its 100th anniversary—a century of service, philanthropy, and lasting impact across North Texas. This milestone not only honors the vision and legacy of those who came before us, but also inspires us to look boldly toward the future. We hope you will join us on November 15th at Fair Park for an unforgettable evening, bringing together our region’s most passionate leaders and supporters. With special performances, powerful reflections, and a look ahead to our second century of service, it promises to be the celebration of the decade—and a true tribute to the impact we create when we lead together!
Thank you for your steadfast leadership, your passion, and your continued commitment to this extraordinary sisterhood. We look forward to another incredible year of dreaming big, serving boldly, and creating lasting change together.
