Your Impact on North Texas Students
This month, members of our Emerging Leaders, Leadership Society, and Builders Society teamed up with other United Way volunteers to create a positive impact in the lives of thousands of North Texas students.
As part of our Stock the School event, our members collected and stocked essential learning supplies like backpacks, notebooks and pens throughout James Madison and Lincoln High Schools. Volunteers also got to work revitalizing areas of the schools to create a refreshed and positive learning environment that will make students feel welcome and excited as they head back to class this month.
This type of volunteer project creates real change in our community by ensuring that students and teachers are set up for success this school year. By donating a few hours of their time, our dedicated change-seekers—like you—came together to advance our goal of ensuring all students graduate high school prepared for college or a career.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Stock the School. Together with passionate supporters like you, we’re improving access to education so everyone in North Texas can thrive.
