Watch your impact multiply on Wednesday, April 29.

As a Woman of Tocqueville, you’ve invested in students, families and neighbors across North Texas. And this month, you have a chance to drive even greater progress in our community.

At The Pitch presented by Goldman Sachs and powered by PNC, five local entrepreneurs will pitch their bold ideas for improving access to education, income and health across North Texas.

They’ll take the stage to share how their unique approach is transforming lives—and to compete for more than $270,000 in prize funding that will launch them into their next phase of growth and expansion.

You get to help their game-changing ideas move forward.

As a Woman of Tocqueville, you and a guest can join The Pitch—on us!

As a dedicated supporter, you receive complimentary tickets to The Pitch. Use your exclusive ticket code below to claim your seats.

A Heartfelt Celebration for New Moms Across North Texas

We’re thrilled to share that our Women of Tocqueville Baby Shower was a beautiful success!

Together, we honored 150 incredible mothers by delivering thoughtfully curated baby bags filled with both essential items and special touches to celebrate their little ones. In partnership with our outstanding partner agencies, our Women of Tocqueville community is proud to support moms across North Texas as they begin their journey into motherhood—equipped, empowered, and celebrated.

A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors—Contran Corporation, Kimberly-Clark, and Texas Regional Bank—for helping bring this meaningful event to life. We are equally grateful to our dedicated Women of Tocqueville community and Steering Committee members, whose passion and commitment made both the baby shower and gift bag delivery possible.

And a very special thank you to Katie Rose, Erica Austin, Vanessa Salinas Beckstrom, and Eva Hevron for their thoughtful leadership and care in creating such a memorable and impactful experience for all who attended.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Ruth Sharp Altshuler Tocqueville Society Luncheon, presented by Vistra.

It was a true pleasure to be together with a community of leaders who care so deeply about the future of North Texas.

What makes our Tocqueville Society so special isn’t just the generosity in the room—it’s the shared commitment to doing more, together. Because of you, we are creating real momentum and expanding what’s possible for our community.

We are grateful to Jim Burke, 101st United Way Annual Campaign chair and president and CEO of Vistra, and to our Honorary Tocqueville Society co-chairs, Erin Nealy Cox and Trey Cox, whose leadership continues to inspire and strengthen this work.

During the luncheon, we were honored to announce three transformational commitments:
  • A $5 million gift announced by Jim Burke from Vistra to launch the Pledge to Pathways initiative
  • A $1 million investment from Fifth Third Bank toward Pledge to Pathways
  • A $1 million gift from the Dr. Bob and Jean Smith Foundation supporting our Community Impact Grants, Data Capacity Building Initiative, and Endowment
Together, these gifts will strengthen our ability to expand opportunity and drive measurable impact in the communities we serve.

Thank you for attending our fourth annual Bench & Bar Boo-Ray Tournament! We were thrilled to see all of you brought your game faces for a night of friendly competition to support United Way’s mission to create a lasting impact in our community. You helped make history as the highest attended Tocqueville Society event to-date.

Special thanks to Bench & Bar Tocqueville Co-Chairs: Katie Kane (Texas Instruments), Scott Ewing (Trinity Industries) and Michele Lau (McKesson) and the GC Host Committee for hosting such a successful event!
